What Our Guests Say

Fantastic Accommodation & Hospitality

What a great surprise! Not a ‘normal’ b & b – more like a small private house with a living area downstairs and then bedroom, dressing room and bathroom upstairs.
A short walk to Marlow high street (10 min walk to hand and flowers).
Beautiful high quality decor with every detail covered including robes, slippers, well stocked honesty fridge, tv, Sky, tea and coffee making facilities, toothpaste, biscuits, welcome gift, complementary sloe gin – and more!!
The bed and pillows were very comfy and I felt very at home here.
Breakfast was composed of a well stocked hamper which was delivered to the door by the very lovely Yvonne who was very understanding and helpful when my plans went a bit wrong!!
I really hope to return!

The Heron’s Nest Marlow is a fantastic B&B

The Heron’s Nest Marlow is a fantastic B&B, everything you need with all the amenities one could ask for including fantastic hosts. nothing is too much trouble, clean and very comfortable place and a wonderful hamper breakfast with too much food. will use the Heron’s Nest again, if available, which is probably a big risk! recommend staying here 100%.

A little gem of a B&B in Marlow!

What a lovely, homely & welcoming place to stay! A stone’s throw from Marlow’s High Street & a short walk to The Hand & Flowers. The cooked breakfast gives Tom Kerridge some definite competition. A big thank you to our hosts! By far the most personal place we have stayed in.

‘Home from Home’

We stayed for one night in April whilst meeting up with friends in Marlow and we loved it!
Everything was immaculate and Yvonne looked after us so well. there were lots of little finishing touches which made our stay extra special. The location is perfect for walking into the centre of Marlow. Overall a lovely B&B which has something a little different to offer. – Stayed April 2015, travelled as a couple

‘Lovely apartment style b&b’
Very spacious, ideal for relaxing with sofa and tv area as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Friendly owners and superb breakfast. We’ll definitely be back when we need to stay in Marlow again. It is located on the edge of a housing estate but great for a short walk into Marlow. – Stayed February 2015, travelled as a couple

Booked for my wife as a surprise as we had a reservation for The Hand and Flowers and we were both amazed! Excellent location, walking distance into Marlow high street and The Hand and Flowers. Lovely rooms in immaculate condition, Sky sports on the TV, coffee machine, amazing shower, very comfy bed, just brilliant!

Yvonne was excellent and helped arranged a cold bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates for my wife and the breakfast was just unbelievable! The breakfast cupboard is brilliant and we were spoilt with fresh fruit, juice, tea, toast and a full cooked breakfast. The sausages were excellent!

I would really recommend this as we had a lovely time and Yvonne and Mario were fantastic – Stayed December 2014

We put some friends up here and they said it was probably one of the best B&B’s they had stayed in for some time. There were all sorts of lovely touches, from complimentary Sloe Gin to a small gift from Marlow.

A great breakfast and the choice was excellent, the home-made breads and conserves were also delightful.

The bed was so comfortable they said it was hard to leave.

So can thoroughly recommend as a great place to stay when visiting our lovely town of Marlow!!

Room Tip: This is more of a suite than a B&B it is a self contained unit with the lounge/kitchen downstair…
